Dooleys are appointed to provide project management, quantity surveying and principal designer roles for the development of a new two-storey extension with refurbishment works to Mahdlo Youth Zone.

Mahdlo is a registered charity and state-of-the-art Youth Zone in the heart of Oldham for 8-19 year olds (and up to 25 year olds for young people with a disability). Open 7 days a week, 52 weeks of the year, Mahdlo Youth Zone offers an exciting range of activities and opportunities that all young people from across Oldham can access for just 50p as a member.

Dooleys are appointed to provide project management, quantity surveying and principal designer roles for the development of a new two-storey extension with refurbishment works to the existing Mahdlo Youth Zone facility situated in Oldham. The works will create a new arts performance space with a café on the middle floor and office space on the upper floor.

The existing building will have the following areas refurbished: ground floor entrance, lower floor changing area, lower floor domestic training kitchen, upper floor boardroom, sensory room and toilets. These works are taking place while the existing building is still in operation.
